SSG’s successful collaboration is presently established in ten different fields, where about 500 experts within the forest industry work actively on more than 60 committees and working groups to strategically and operatively identify important, cost-efficient solutions that heighten quality and are applicable to the entire international process industry.
Through active participation in SSG’s committees and working groups the contact networks of the involved companies are extended and, at the same time, they can more actively influence public authorities, manufacturers and suppliers. Committee work, which provides major benefits for the participating companies, generates not only standards and technical guidelines but also reports and technical bulletins.
