Piping system committee

The Piping committee is responsible for standardization and studies in the piping and piping system field. Project groups composed of people from the process industry are appointed to conduct various projects.

Documentation in the piping system field includes:

  • Calculation and design instructions. 
  • Codifying, marking and symbols. 
  • Material and components in piping systems and pumps. 
  • Pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, flange seals, screws, bolts, washers and hoses. 
  • Fittings, pumps, cistern parts. 
  • Pipe suspension solutions. 
  • Insulation of piping systems and cisterns. 
  • Technical regulations for contracted work. 
  • Process connections, measuring equipment. 
  • Pipe lead-throughs in buildings, form for self-controls.
