The SSG standard for pipe supports/hangers has been the industry’s solution of choice when designing , manufacturing and installing piping systems in Scandinavia since the 1970s. The standard has now been through a process of further development.
Among other things, the temperature limit of max. 200°C has been removed. The dimension range has increased, and now includes pipe supports up to and including DN 1200. SSG has also carried out the modifications that have been required to make the standard compliant with the European Pressure Equipment Directive, PED, 97/23/EC.

• New type 16 introduced (sliding support/guide with axial stopper).
• New stop lug for thick-walled stainless pipes.
• New symbol for type 12, sliding support with restraining clip.
