SSG Risk Management Model

The SSG Risk Management Model is an industry-wide model for the practical handling of risks. The model is based on current regulations issued by, for example, the Swedish Work Environment Authority, the Swedish Rescue Services Agency and the Swedish Chemical Agency as well as a variety of standards and guidelines. The model includes links to checklists, templates and methods. Since the documents are based on genuine examples from the Swedish forest industry it may be necessary to adapt them to local working methods and circumstances.

The model is foremost designed to be generally applicable and therefore can be used for risk management in a wide range of fields and address working environment challenges. The term working environment refers to conditions and factors that have an influence on the wellbeing of employees, temporary staff, suppliers, contractors, visitors and other people who are present in the workplace.
